William Raveis Joins With Zillow For Home Listings

Shelton-based William Raveis Real Estate has partnered with Zillow to automatically feed its listings to the online real estate and mortgage information website, hoping to bring more leads to its agents.
The partnership announced Thursday will allow properties listed on http://www.raveis.com to be found on Zillow. The Zillow Listings Feed program began in 2007 and now has more than 4 million for-sale listings and hundreds of thousands of rental listings, according to the companies.
“If it’s on the [Multiple Listing Service] and on raveis.com, it’s going to be on Zillow,” said Wayne Edmonds, vice president of information technology for Raveis. “We’re trying to attract more leads to the Raveis agents, and Zillow is another leading aggregator for real estate listings, both online and on the mobile Web.”
